Thousands of children participating to Children’s Festival organized by Fatih Municipality on April 23 National Sovereignty And Children’s Day had fun in the playgrounds and had a cheerful day.
Fatih Municipality Information Houses organized the Traditional Information Houses Children’s Festival within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty And Children’s Day activities. Hundreds of children coming together in Fındıkzade Çukurbostan Park which has an area of 4,000 square meters, played various games in the areas prepared for them and enjoyed themselves to the repletion. Fatih Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir who participated to the activity area and shares their joy and he was closely interested in children.
Mayor Demir who took lots of photos with the children, said “It is an important place where children can enjoy their childhood and also experience the National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. They have fun whole day. We are very happy with this. We commemorate Atatürk who is the founding leader of our Republic and all our martyrs gratefully.”
In his speech, Mayor Demir said that Information House children will give their first concert tonight. Mayor Demir said: “We are supporting our children in order to advance more than the farthest level aimed by the children of advanced countries which have exceed the level of contemporary civilization. Our next target is to form new youth which will compete with the children of the most advanced countries of the world.”
The children participating to the activity stated that they celebrated their day. The children who stated that they had fun to the repletion and they enjoyed the spring and the festival with many toys such as Flying Bicycle, Children’s Sumo, Climbing Pyramid, Trampoline, Super Jumper, Dolphin Rodeo, Balance Dengede, Shoe Slide, Fruit Tree Zıp Zıp etc.
Students of Fatih Municipality Information Houses hold a stage demonstration all day long on the stage established on the festival area. In addition the students of Fatih Municipality Manager of Information gave a mini concert to the participants.
Children were offered ice cream, cotton candy, Ottoman paste and popcorn in the festival which hosted exciting competitions, theater plays and mini concerts.
