6 New Schools Have Participated in the Hobio Project

In this new academic year, six new schools have participated in the HOBIO (Orchestra for Every School) project, which the Fatih Municipality initiated for the purpose of enabling children and young people in the district schools to begin the music training in the early ages and establishing a music class in the schools.
Iskenderpaşa Elementary School, Melek Hatun Elementary School and Ford Otosan Elementary School have participated in the project in the new period that included elementary schools to the scope of the project. After the selections, the talented toddlers were determined, and they started to be trained in the branches of piano, violin, cello and guitar. In addition, voice training was started to be given, and the studies for the establishment of a children’s choir in these schools have started.
A CHAMBER ORCHESTRA WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN THE ŞEHREMINI HISH SCHOOL
The Şehremini High School, one of the well-established education institutions in the Fatih district, obtained its HOBIO class. The Şehremini High School, which has succeeded in many international achievements in sports and arts for years, aims at making a distinguished name for itself in the music field as well with the contribution of the Fatih Municipality within the scope of the HOBIO project. The students will establish a chamber orchestra with all the instruments of the Western music through the special talent exam.
HOBIO IS IN THE RELIGIOUS VOCATIONAL HIGH SHOOLS FOR THE FIRST TIME
The HOBIO Project started the music training in the Religious Vocational High Schools this year for the first time. The Ali Nar Secondary School and the Istanbul Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Anatolian Religious Vocational High School, whose new building was put into service by our President, obtained their new music classes. The students, who were selected in these schools, will be trained in the branches of Reed Flute, Frame Drum, Oud, Classical Kemancha and Qanun, which are basic instruments of Turkish Music, plus, they will establish a Sufi Music choir.
THE PROJECT REACHED OUT TO 24 SCHOOLS
The number of the active school in the HOBIO project reached to 24 with the recently participating schools. The musical instruments, which the students participating in the project are trained for, are given as a gift to them by the Fatih Municipality.
