The Ayvansaray Neighborhood Urban Renewal Project, which the Fatih Municipality initiated its project designing works in 2006 and application works by 2012, comes to an end. One of the most important features of the project is to carry this tradition into the future by restoring the buildings as faithful to their originals, which integrated with the history and culture and reflecting the Turkish architecture.
Project designing works that the Fatih Municipality initiated in 2006 covers approximately 20 thousand square meter areas. There are totally 4 plots, 68 parcels, 15 buildings that are the Examples of Civil Architecture, and 4 Monuments in this area. According to the approved concept project 37 residences, 12 Commercial and 1 Social and Cultural Facilities are planned to be constructed in this field. Within the scope of the project; 15 houses, which are generally three-storey buildings and the examples of the Ottoman-Turkish architecture, were restored in the Ayvansaray Turkish District as faithful to their originals The project, infrastructure works of which is completed, will be put into practice following the completion of its landscape design.
